Make a Difference This Christmas with the RSPCA Coin Trail
Animal suffering doesn’t stop for Christmas, together, we can change their future. Join the RSPCA Coin Trail with your school or community group and make a lasting impact. Help rescue animals and provide them with the critical care they need with every coin you collect.
How to participate
- 1 Register Your Group. Sign up today to receive everything you need to get started, including ideas for organising your event and resources to promote it with families and friends.
- 2 Choose Your Collection Style. Collect coins throughout November and create your trail at the end, or make it a one-day event. Choose the format that works best for your group!
- 3 Build & Measure Your Trail. Gather your group and line up your coins to create the longest trail you can. Measure your trail to see which animal facts you’ve unlocked! Once you’ve finished your trail and spoken to the RSPCA, we will send you a certificate along with all of your unlocked facts.
What is the RSPCA Coin Trail?
The RSPCA Coin Trail is a simple, fun, and effective way for young people to raise donations for animals in need this Christmas. Here’s how it works:
- Collect Coins. Invite children, families, and your community to donate spare change, it could be within a school, community group centre or in the outdoors. Every penny counts – no donation is too small!
- Create Your Trail. Gather as a group to line up your collected coins, creating a “trail” that you can measure. The length of your trail unlocks exciting animal facts and stories that show the difference you’re making!
- Learn & Make an Impact. Each milestone on your coin trail reveals fascinating facts about animals and the RSPCA’s rescue work, helping children learn how kindness can change lives.
