Neglected pups Jack and Poppy were barely alive

If it wasn’t for a cruelty report alerting us to Jack and Poppy left starving and abandoned then these pups would not have survived much longer. Thanks to a team effort we were able to rescue them and give them a life they deserve in a loving new home. To help more animals we need your support.

They were one of the saddest sights I have seen in my career

Seeing Jack and Poppy reunited with each other for the first time since they were adopted and witnessing them loving life with their new owners is a career highlight for me.

They were one of the saddest sights I had ever seen when we rescued them from a filthy flat where they had been abandoned, starving and with a terrible skin condition. They looked as though they had almost given up on life.

But thanks to urgent RSPCA veterinary treatment and rehabilitation work carried out by our dedicated staff, they have a fantastic new chapter in their lives.

Jack and Poppy are thriving now thanks to our care which is wholly funded by your generosity

Jack and Poppy made such great progress at an RSPCA centre that within just a few weeks they were unrecognisable from the sorry state in which they were taken in.

The pups were severely underweight and had an awful skin condition which left them almost bald. But when I returned to see them the kennel staff brought out two dogs and I didn't recognise them - such was their amazing transformation.

Both Jack and Poppy have been rehomed with adoring families and it was so heartwarming to see them loving life and providing so much joy to their new owners.

Sadly there are many animals which will need rescuing this Christmas - help us by donating today.
