Aberconwy Branch
Welcome to the RSPCA Aberconwy Branch page!
We are a local branch that covers an area from Llandudno in the North to Cwm Penmachno in the South.
We currently operate an animal welfare clinic (see below), collaborate with 4 neighbouring branches to run the North Wales Mobile Animal Clinic and have three charity shops in Llandudno (15 Mostyn Street), Craig y Don (2 Mostyn Avenue) and Rhos on Sea (4 Penrhyn Avenue) that help us raise the funds to support all the work we do for local animals.
Our branch is run by a committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the strategic and development of the branch working alongside our amazing staff and volunteers.
We also do our very best to support animals from our local area who need help finding new homes. Most of these we take in directy from the local RSPCA Inspectors as they are always the animals most in need of our support. Once we have assessed them, rehabiliated them and fostered them into a loving family from our fostering network, we work hard to find them their new forever homes. You can see the animals we currently have looking for homes by visiting here.
If you would like to support the branch in whatever way please do get in touch. We have lots of opportunities for people to be invovled from joining the charity shop team or helping out at the clinics. You might even be interested in becoming a fosterer, helping animals we take in recover from their misfortune and supporting them in fidning their new home. Whatever interests you, please get in touch by emailing us at enquiries@rspca-aberconwy.org.uk or drop in to the shop or clinic to pick up an application form. Alternatively, you can download a general branch appplication form here or our charity shop application here, and email it directly to volunteer@rspca-aberconwy.org.uk.

Aberconwy Animal Welfare Clinic
Our welfare clinic is open three days a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. We offer an appointment only service for those in receipt of any means-tested benefit, so please call the clinic on 01492 584061 to book the next available appointment to see our vet. When our clinic is closed, you can still access veterinary services from our supporting partners. Please view and keep this document so you know where to go if our clinic is closed.
Aberconwy Branch is sometimes able to offer financial assistance towards veterinary procedures we can't perform at our clinic. This is intended for owners who have experienced unexpected veterinary costs for their pet and are having difficulty with payment. Due to the limitations of our funds, any financial contribution is restricted to certain treatments and fixed amounts. It does not include routine treatments such as vaccinations, preventative or other treatments we can offer at one of our clinics. In order to qualify for support you must be able to show proof of any means-tested benefits you are receiving before any financial assistance is considered. Any funding granted, which will be in the form of a voucher, redeemable at the veterinary practice where treatment is to be provided.
For all enquiries regarding assistance with neutering or veterinary treatment, members of the public need to call 07897 525998 Monday - Friday between the hours of 09.00 - 16.00.
