Who are we?
The RSPCA Isle of Wight is an independently registered Island based charity and is one of over 150 independent charities that support the work of the RSPCA at a local community level. Originally established in the 1950s, we support the Island’s most vulnerable animals.
We provide care and assistance to the animals on the Isle of Wight that require our help. Our service supports professional animal rescue, providing veterinary care, rehabilitation and rehoming or release to the wild. We also promote responsible animal ownership through local educational campaigns.
As an independently registered charity, we rely on the generosity of the local community to support our animal welfare work. All monies raised on the Island, remain on the Island and go to support abandoned, abused, and orphaned domestic, farm and wild animals. Funds are raised through our charity shops, fundraising events, legacies and donations.
