About us
RSPCA Kent - Isle of Thanet Branch currently takes in and rehomes a large number of abandoned, unwanted and abused cats, dogs and small furries. The centre provides assistance in the area for RSPCA inspectors.
The new Woodchurch Animal Centre is a major ongoing project to help animals in the local area. However, we can only build in phases as money becomes available.
The much needed cat and dog isolation blocks are nearly complete but the next phase will be to build dog kennels, then a cattery and after that small animal accomodation.
As well as helping animals, the centre will have an education and training room so that children and local people can come along to learn more about animal welfare.
Group talks - Do you belong to a local group? We are happy to visit group meetings to give a talk about the work of our branch, the development of the Woodchurch Animal Centre and our future plans. Please get in touch if you're interested.
School talks - Do you work in education? We can visit schools and give talks to children of all ages about animal welfare, the Woodchurch Animal Centre, our local branch activities and how they can get involved. Contact us to find out more.
