Our past, present and future
HISTORY
Kent West Branch has been in operation since 1883 and has proudly been assisting pet owners in our area with veterinary fees, neutering, euthanasia and general pet ownership and welfare advice.
OUR AIMS
- To promote kindness to and prevent or suppress cruelty to animals by all lawful means
- To promote and support local animal welfare
- To help to rehome unwanted animals with new, responsible owners.
WHAT WE DO
We support the RSPCA’s Inspectors and Animal Welfare and Collection Officers in their duties by assisting with financial support, providing boarding or foster homes for animals in need. We have a special fund to assist with equine cases that may need medical treatment or equipment and transportation.
WHO WE ARE
We are run by dedicated volunteers, some of whom are official Trustees of the Branch, ensuring that it is run in accordance with Charity Commission governance requirements and National Society guidelines and rules.
We are always looking for new trustees and volunteers so if you are interested please contact the Branch by telephone (07410538902) or email (Admin@rspca-kentwest.org.uk) or visit our Facebook site for further information.
