The Stockport animal adoption centre is located just inside Pets at Home's flagship Stockport store. We're just off junction 1 of the M60, near the Pyramid.

Our facilities

The centre offers an informal and friendly environment for our visitors.  The ideal setting for meeting a potential new family member!

There are 3 large cat pods that can each house up to two cats. The animals living in the centre have come from local RSPCA branches and RSPCA inspectors. Most will have come from cruelty and neglect cases, often being abandoned by their previous owners, but after a lot of TLC they come to us in the hope of finding their forever families.

Education and events 

We  offer a weekly drop-in session for rabbits and guinea pigs, providing free health checks, free claw clipping and free pet care advice on all aspects of housing, enrichment, diet and behaviour.

We regularly hold low cost micro-chipping events that are open to all, regardless of income. Our events are advertised on our Facebook page.

Our staff also provide talks, on and offsite, to local groups, including schools and colleges, on the work of the RSPCA.
