What we do
We are a branch of the RSPCA but registered as a separate charity. We help local animals in need and are responsible for funding all our activities ourself.
We rehabilitate and rehome animals who have nowhere else to go. This involves collecting abandoned or injured animals, transporting them to the relevant boarding facilities and then paying for whatever vet treatment they need. Once they are ready to be re-homed, we start te process of looking for the best match for them!
We also help people in the local area who are on benefits or living on a low income, and suddenly face an emergency vet bill.
We organise fundraising and local community events ranging from pub quizzes, to litter picks.
Animals are at the heart of what we do.
