With the recent announcement to increase the maximum prison sentence from six months to five years in England, we want to ensure the same applies within Wales.

If you believe it should too, you’re not alone. A 2017 YouGov poll for RSPCA Cymru also found that 80 percent of people in Wales support the maximum sentence being increased to a prison term of five years*.
