Spectacular Scooby arrived at the centre back in September as part of a welfare case however he is now ready to find a new home. Everyone who works with Scooby loves him with both staff and the volunteers enjoying working with him, he’s even had some sleepovers at a member of staff's house! There isn’t much that gets this big lad down and he always comes up to you with a tail wag. He is friendly with everyone and loves being out and about, he could walk for hours if we let him.
Since being here Scooby has really been working on his walking, as he can be a strong lad so having continued training in a home would really benefit him when transitioning into his new home. Scooby is just overall a really sweet and affectionate boy, he loves being around people and would love a family to call his own, where he can go on the long walks and then relax on a comfy sofa. Scooby has shown to do well around most of the other centre dogs but we feel he would benefit from being the only dog in the house as he can sometimes get a bit frustrated with dogs in his face.
Scooby could live with older dog savvy children, but this will be applicant dependent as he can be a bit strong at times. Scooby would make an excellent addition to any household and would love the chance to show someone some love, to which he can get love back in return.
