This adorable little Staffy girl is searching for a loving family to shower her with all the cuddles she craves! Matilda has the sweetest nature and is always excited to make new human friends. In fact, she’s so eager to show her affectionate side that she can be a little enthusiastic on first meetings—expect plenty of kisses! With some gentle guidance, she’ll learn to keep all four paws on the floor while still sharing her love.

The Home I Need:

Matilda is a fun-loving, energetic girl who absolutely loves her daily walks and playtime. She is currently enjoying time in a foster home, where she has been a little angel and settled really well in to family life. She’s a clever girl so will thrive in a home where she has plenty of toys to keep her entertained - often after a good run around outdoors, she’s just as happy to snuggle up on the sofa and relax. Since Matilda has shown some anxiety when left alone, her perfect family will be one that can offer companionship in the day and help her gradually build confidence in being left for short periods.


Due to her friendly nature, we will consider homes with dog savvy and confident children (around 8 years plus) who are not worried by her bouncy ways or attempts to steal treats, but for now, Matilda would do best as the only pet in the home. While she has potential to make doggy friends with careful introductions, she can get a little frustrated when seeing unfamiliar dogs on lead - this is usually due to her eagerness to say hello, but it will need to be managed positively to ensure happy interactions. Additionally, she has shown interest in smaller animals, so she’ll need a secure garden and should be kept on lead during outdoor adventures.
