Would you like to help local animals?
We are looking for volunteers to help support local animals via Fostering, supporting at Events & Fundraising, and becoming Home Visitors.
ANIMAL FOSTERERS
Animal fosterers are needed to help look after animals in our area. Many of these animals are in need of a loving and caring temporary homes as part of their rehabilitation.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who are willing to open up their homes to dogs and cats needing a fresh start in life
Animal fostering is an important role. It helps to play a vital part in the rehabilitation of animals and helps improve their chance of finding a new home.
EVENTS & FUNDRAISING VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers to help us raise funds and run events to support our welfare work for local animals.
Last year we helped over 200 animals in our local area and with your help we can help more.
If you are over 18 and can spare 3 hours a month, or more, then please consider using that time to help local animals. Activities can range from helping at events, taking part in store and street collections, and helping to develop new and alternative fundraising opportunities for the Branch
HOME VISITOR
The role of the Home Visitor is to visit the homes of potential animal adopters to ensure we are finding the appropriate home for animals in our care. The Home Visitor role is a vital and rewarding part of our rehoming process and we need people who have access to their own transport, confident and are good communicators.
If you would like to apply for any of these roles, or require further information, please email the Branch via rspca.darlington@gmail.com
