Looking for a volunteering challenge?
The RSPCA Darlington and District branch is an independent charity that helps animals in the local area. The charity would like to hear from anyone who can spare a few hours a month to help with the charity’s work. The Branch needs people with a variety of skills to support the Branch as a Trustee.
It is a great opportunity to become directly involved in animal welfare work and help develop and grow the Branch.
To be a Branch trustee, you need to be committed to the RSPCA’s objectives of promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals. You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills. You do not need to be an expert in any area although commitment, common sense and the ability to be impartial is vital. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have an interest and/or experience in administration and finance.
If you have ever thought about becoming a trustee of an RSPCA branch and would like some more information please contact John Main via email (john.main@rspca.org.uk)
