How you can help us
It costs the RSPCA over a £1,000 a day to run Newport Animal Centre. We rely entirely on kind donations from people like you. There are many ways you can help us apart from giving cash:
We are always grateful for donations of wet animal food, cat litter, bedding or pet toys for our animals. Old newspapers and shredded paper are handy too. We always use towels and blankets with the animals, although due to limited storage we are unable to accept duvets and pillows at the moment.
We have our very own Newport Animal Centre wishlist on Amazon if you'd like to order something and get it posted direct to us instead of making a cash donation. Prices start from only a few pounds - the animals are very grateful for anything you can give
If you have any new or good as new items you no longer want, unwanted gifts, please dropp them off at the centre as we could use them for tombola and raffle prizes at our events. Your unwanted bric-a-brac would also raise money at our events - every penny counts.
Don't forget we have a small shop selling pet products and we engrave pet tags while you wait. So please think of us if you need to buy items for your pets.
If you would like to support us in any way, or could offer a much needed home to one of our rescue animals, please look on the RSPCA Newport Website on 'find-a-pet' to see all the animals currently available for rehoming.
