Become An RSPCA Volunteer..
Are you passionate about animals? Will you make a difference for local animals who have suffered cruelty or neglect?
Volunteering for your local RSPCA Branch is a great way to meet like-minded people and be involved with a group of individuals who share the same enthusiasm as you for animal welfare. Being a volunteer will enable you to gain new skills or develop existing ones ... and it's fun!
You could help our animal care staff, walk dogs, support our reception and office team, fundraise (a very flexible way to volunteer), be a Home Visitor, Foster a dog or cat (we pay food and vet bills!), help at one of our charity shops or join our management committee.
We do expect all volunteers to help at occasional fund raising events and to encourage themselves, family and friends to support events.
For more information, or for an application form, telephone 01302 719790 or email syacreception@btconnect.com or just pop in and ask at reception. We are open six days a week 11am to 4pm (closed Wednesdays).
Applicants MUST be over the age of 17 unless you are part of a work experience program via school or college.
