Meet the prettiest girl Carmel who is looking for a fresh start!
Carmel has had a bit of upheaval in her short life and it starting to find her paws now. Carmel has been quite unsure with people and was put out into a foster home so we could work out if she wants an indoor home or an outdoor home.
It turns out either would be ok, with the right circumstances. We have worked out she needs a residing cat friend in her new home this is a must. In foster care she has attached herself to the foster carer’s own cats and cat savvy dog, she seems to prefer the company of other cats to people.
She could live in an outdoor setting like a barn or outbuilding that is secure and warm, and she can get regular meals, but in time she may gain enough confidence to come and warm herself by a fire. She may be able to be adopted into a house but with the expectation that she may not seek out attention form people and may spend most of her time outside or in the company of the resident cat.
If you think you would be a good fit for Carmel. Please send you completed application form to enquiries@rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk and we can call and chat with a potential adopter with more information.
