Poor Little Petal
Special Appeal: Poor Little Petal
Meet Petal, one of our recent rescues. This beautiful, gentle black and white cat was found in the street and brought in to us by a member of the public, who noticed that she was limping badly and dragging one of her legs. We rushed Petal to a veterinary hospital, where an X-ray revealed that her leg was badly broken. Petal had not been microchipped and we were unable to trace her owners. Working closely with the vet, we made the decision to amputate her broken leg. The operation was successful, and Petal is recovering well, although naturally it will take her a little while to get used to only having three legs. While Petal recovers with lots of cuddles and TLC in our cattery, we are asking for any kind donations towards the cost of her veterinary care. So far, we have spent over £1000 on her treatment, hospitalisation and rehabilitation, which is a lot of money for a small charity to spend on one small cat. Could you help? Any contribution will be very gratefully received, no matter how small. for more details about how to donate, or call 01895 833417 to donate by card over the phone. Thank you for your support.
