Bear is a handsome Saluki x and nearly two years old and has been in our centre for more than a year after coming to us through the inspectorate and has only recently become ours and available for adoption.
After spending most of his life in kennels Bear will need an understanding owner to help him adjust to life in a home.
He is very loving and adores attention and is very popular with our volunteers. Bear has struggled with kennel life and can be lead reactive to other dogs but can be introduced and can enjoy walking out and play with other dogs. The centres behaviourist has been working with Bear and he has made huge improvements. Our behaviourist would support you should you decide that Bear is the right dog for your home.
Bear could live with older children.
He would prefer not to live with a cat.
Bear may be able to live with another dog, preferably a female.
Bear struggles in built up areas and can be reactive to dogs in this stuation, therefore Bear would need to live in a semi rural location.
Adoption fee is from £500 this includes 4 weeks petplan insurance, 1 hour 1 to 1 training with our dog behaviourist, up to date flea and worm treatments, fully vaccinated, neutering and microchipping.
