This year has been extremely busy as we have taken on a huge challenge of opening a second charity shop.

Our shop is the largest source of funding for our cause, so when we were lucky enough to be left a legacy by the Late Mrs Humberstone, it was decided we use that funding to branch out in an effort to increase our regular funding. 

So, we are now open in Kempston! After months of negotiations and hard work we have taken over what used to be the old Barclays bank at 191 Bedford Road, MK42 8DD. 

Opening day was a huge success, with one of our beloved members who has been involved with the Branch for over 50 years cutting the ribbon and lots of games and treats for the animals and children who came to visit. 

The Branch is truly thankful to the staff, volunteers and contractors involved with setting our new shop up, and we hope to have many happy years there.
