Chunk is a fantastic chatterbox and enjoys being in peoples company, he however struggles with close human interaction unless he well and truly, 100% trusts you and this trust takes time for Chunk to establish. Chunk has been in a home before and enjoyed the comforts but was easily overstimulated. Chunk will need a home where he can spend his settling in period in a secure outdoor area such as a stable, barn, garden/summer house, catio and slowly integrate to becoming a part of his new family and home.
Ongoing support will be given to Chunk and his adopter whilst he settles in.

Hi there, I'm Chunk

A little bit about me

I'm a handsome young man with a big, beautiful face and lovely soft fur.
Not much is known about my history but the team can see I have dealt with some traumas in the past and did have difficulty learning to trust those around me. Since being at the centre and with lots of time, patience and understanding I've really started to trust people again and have my few favourite people.
I love to follow my favourite people around and will bump and squish my head into there feet and legs.
I enjoy playing and chasing my feather on a stick toy and batting my ping pong balls.
I'm not the biggest fuss-pot fan but will enjoy a stroke or 2 and can quickly tell you to move on when I've had enough or would prefer a snack of dreamies, lick-e-lix or my cat nip fix!

What I am looking for

I'm a man of very few wants but definitely some needs such as; a calm and patient family who can see past my good looks and understand my need for space and a special type of home.
I will much prefer to live in an adult only home and with those who can keep me and my mind stimulated with play.
