There was great weather on our Open Day and we raised a total of £3,742 - the catering alone raised £1,000.

1,511 visitors enjoyed the event and there were 153 fun dog show entries judged by vet Jean Morris from Summerhill Vets.

Thanks to all the local suppliers who donated things to make the event such a success - Peter’s pies, Spot-on Entertainment’s bouncy castle, A1 portaloos. Sunnydale Nursery’s plants. Thanks also to Newport Gwent Dragons, Planet Ice and Riverfront Theatre for the raffle prizes they gave us.

Not forgetting of course a big thank you to our fabulous volunteers – we couldn’t have done it without you!
