North Wiltshire & Newbury District Branch

RSPCA North Wiltshire and Newbury District branch is a self-funded, separately registered charity. One of our main missions is to provide care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in the region. We care for around 4,000 wildlife casualties annually at our wildlife rescue centre, RSPCA Oak and Furrows, and answer around 7,000 queries from the public.

In addition to our wildlife services, we offer financial assistance for veterinary treatment to pet owners on some government benefits. Wherever possible, animals are neutered and micro-chipped before being re-homed. From time-to-time, we also run local welfare campaigns such as free micro-chipping and free neutering.

We also work with the national RSPCA to find suitable forever homes for cats who have been injured, neglected, mistreated or abandoned. We do this through our Volunteer Cat Fostering Programme.
