TOMMY AND BOBBY

Add to my favourites

About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Ginger & Black and White
Age: 2 Years (approx)

Please say hello to lovely boys Tommy and Bobby, these boys have been through so much and deserve a home that can accommodate their needs. these boys are very nervous and will hide but they have shown that with time and patience they can start to trust humans, the boys are with their foster carer in the Swindon area and have been making slow but sure progress in their rehabilitation, they just need time and the chance to get to know their new family.
They like to sleep together and play together. Both boys are starting to enjoy a small stroke, they love interacting with their foster carers through play, they are good boys and have no issues using the litter tray and will happily eat their food, not fussy at all. We would not consider rehoming these boys seperatly, Please take a look at their very lovely  video.
The home we are hoping to find for these deserving boys is a home that is quiet with a family who understands that it will take time to get used to their new surroundings, you will need to be happy to go at pace that suits the boys and be patient enough to know that building their confidence will take time and input. A quiet home away from a busy road will be required along with access to the outside via a cat flap. Outside access will not be needed straight away as the settling in period for these cats will be some months.
Please note: The adoption fee for both will be £300 this contribution will help us continue to support cats in need like Tommy and Bobby. Both boys have had some dental treatment, have been neutered, have up to date vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and a microchip.

Why I'm special

Hello everyone, our names are Tommy and Bobby, we are two very special cats who are looking for a very special family to welcome us into their home. We will need to be the only animal in the home as we originally came from a home where there we so many other cats we couldn't be cared for. We have been kept together because we have a bond, we like to sleep together andhave fun  playing together.
We are very nervous around people as we haven't got used to being around humans yet but we are making slow progress. Our foster carers in Swindon are really helping us and we now like to sit on the sofa with them instead of hiding like we used to, we are starting to realise that being around them is actually quite nice. We are not aggressive at all but it is a bit tricky for our carers to get us into our carriers to go to the vet, this is something we are working on.
We hope to find a family that will be patient and caring, a family that will understand that we need to take things slow but will be there to keep our rehabilitation moving forward. We would like a quiet home that is not too busy.
Hopefully we wont have to wait too long to find our perfect match, we are keeping all our paws crossed that we find someone who will love us the way we deserve.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I'll probably spend more time inside
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
