Nurses to brave the heat!
This trio aren’t only united by the thrill of doing something dangerous and an opportunity to do something they’ll never experience again, they’re also colleagues at the University of Bedfordshire’s School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Education
Katherine (Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing and Bedford Campus Site Lead for Adult Nursing), Kelly (Principal Lecturer and School Enhancement Lead) and Val (Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing and Recruitment Lead) are braving the heat in November as a team to raise much needed funds for RSPCA Northamptonshire.
Talking about why they’re supporting RSPCA Northamptonshire Katherine said ‘What I’ve learned about the charity is how it is supporting owners to keep their pets, providing services such as the animal food bank, welfare check clinics run by a veterinary nurse and low cost microchipping’.
So if you’re feeling inspired and are thinking about signing up, take some advice from Kelly ‘Just go for it! You only live once, have no regrets.’
