Annual Christmas Market at the White Eagle Club by local event organiser LR Partnership will take place Saturday the 9th of November, always one of the first Christmas Markets in the area bringing together the best in local businesses. Crafters, artisans and retail outlets, displaying their goodies for all those Christmas presents, decorations and unique 'must haves' you never thought you needed. With free admission and free parking, it’s an ideal choice for your Saturday afternoon of retail therapy and get together with friends and family as the bar will be open, BBQ and hot food available with cafe serving hot drinksThe doors of the Club will be opening at 12 o'clock until 4 pm; all rooms in the popular club will be bursting with over 40 stalls indoors and outside

Town Crier Peter Taunton will let everyone know that Santa has arrived at 1pm. Santa will stay until 3 pm seeing all good boys and girls in his Grotto (£4 per visit minimum of 7 items in the gift) receiving a present and opportunity to have a ‘Selfie with Santa’Lorraine Conkey the organiser of the annual event said;“The Christmas Market is not the usual type of Christmas Market on the countdown to the festive season, its not just an opportunity to shop but we encourage visitors to come and stay for the whole afternoon and make it a family affair, over 600 people attended last year, so there is plenty of food and drink to enjoy, take a seat in the lounge or cafe area in between shopping.Bring your ‘wish list’ to Father Christmas and pop into the letterbox in the foyer of the club.
