We have been working hard to achieve our Covid secure status and now have our certificate. This means we can now make small changes to our new adoption procedure by allowing  some people on site to collect their animals by appointment only. The centre remains closed at all other times. 

Cat and small animals -  adoptions will continue to be carried out remotely via video footage, phone calls and photographs. Payment will still be taken over the phone. We can now make appointments for your animals to be collected from a designated area in our car park rather than being delivered. This means the 1 hour distance restriction no longer applies. 

Dogs - Adoption procedure will continue via phone calls, video footage and photographs. Payment will still be taken over the phone. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog in a secure area that you can access directly from the road. In most cases you will then be able to take your dog home once you have spent some time together. The 1 hour distance restriction no longer applies. 

* We have a number of dogs who have specific problems and in these cases they may need to be visited on a few occasions. Some of these dogs will still be delivered by the behaviour and welfare Adviser to make the process less stressful. For these dogs the 1 hour distance restriction will still apply*
