Host a Conversation for Animals

Come together with your friends, family or local community for a Conversation for Animals and talk about the world you want to see for animals. We’ll use the outcomes of these conversations to drive our future campaigning work, urge the Government to take action and rally everyone to build a better world for every animal – one where they’re treated with kindness and respect.

How to host a Conversation for Animals

Download the Conversation for Animals resources on this page for everything you need to host a discussion and share your ideas with us. The resources toolkit (on your right) includes a simple guide, conversation cards, and response sheet.

You can also start planning using the steps and links below.

Your step-by-step guide

  • 1 Come together with a group of friends or family for a conversation. It could be over a coffee, at your monthly book club or after a religious service.
  • 2 Use the conversation cards on this page to get started. Begin with the introduction card to explain what Animal Futures: The Big Conversation is.
  • 3 Choose your first theme. Each has its own conversation card with a description and questions. As you’re discussing, use your response sheet (downloadable on this page) to take notes you can refer back to later.
  • 4 If you have time to chat more, choose any of the remaining three themes to continue the discussion and repeat the process above.
  • 5

After your conversation, share your group’s reflections and ideas on animal futures by answering questions through our short online survey.
