RSPCA media team

Our media team works with journalists with all the latest RSPCA news and information. We can help arrange interviews with our spokespeople, and provide case studies and statements on animal-related matters. Members of the press can also read our latest press releases online.

If you're a student journalist

We'll do our best to help with student enquiries however please be aware that, as a charity, we can't guarantee to help you in time for your deadline. We have plenty of information on our website which may help you, including our latest news releases and facts and figures.

During normal office hours (9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday), members of the press can contact us at either of the following telephone numbers:

Contacting our press office out of hours - journalists only

After 5 pm on weekdays, and over the weekends and bank holidays, journalists and members of the media can contact the duty press officer for urgent press enquiries.

The duty press officer is available via 0300 123 0244 and press@rspca.org.uk.

There is a press officer on duty 24/7, although please note that given our very limited resources, this is only for time-sensitive and urgent media enquiries.

North of England
