The Big Help Out

Join the biggest volunteering event of the year between the 7-9June 2024.

What is the Big Help Out?

The Big Help Out is an annual volunteering event where we will join hundreds of national charities and community groups to inspire the public to get involved with our causes. 

Originally planned over the King’s Coronation Weekend in 2023 the Big Help Out now sits at the end of Volunteers’ Week to help celebrate the contribution volunteers make to the charity sector. 

How you can get involved 

We’d love for you to get involved in any way that you can but if you’re looking for a great role you can do from home over the weekend then why not join us as a Wildlife Friend. 

The role was specifically created for wildlife and animal lovers to get involved over the Coronation weekend in 2023 and we are thrilled to have carried it through into our 200th Birthday year.
