Your local RSPCA
Blackpool & North Lancs Branch
The RSPCA Blackpool & North Lancashire Branch is a self-funding branch of the RSPCA responsible for raising money locally to support our animal welfare work
Our animal centre which can have 100+ animals onsite at any one time is located in Stalmine
We rehabilitate and rehome dogs, cats, rabbits and small animals including rodents and small domestic birds who have all been rescued by the RSPCA Inspectorate
Our rehoming process is as follows:
1. To view all available animals, please search ‘RSPCA Find a Pet’
2. Submit a ‘Perfect Match Form’ for the chosen animal by emailing it to enquiries@rspcablackpool.org.uk. If you would like to speak to us prior to submitting an application, you can contact us on 01253 703000, 11am - 3pm Tues - Sun
3. The ‘Perfect Match Form’ will be reviewed animal centre staff and if we feel it is a suitable match, we will give potential adopters a call to discuss the animal in further detail
4. Following this phone call, an appointment will be made for adopters to the visit the animal at the centre
5. A virtual homevisit will be carried using photos and videos where necessary
6. The animal will see a vet prior to leaving our care
7. You will then be able to collect your new pet, by appointment and complete the adoption paperwork at the animal centre
Please note that we do not have a license to accept stray dogs and we do not have a vet on site
To report an abused, injured or neglected animal, please contact the RSPCA Inspectors on 0300 1234 999
