Who we are

Bristol Animal Rescue Centre is the name for two linked charities – Bristol Dogs & Cats Home and RSPCA Bristol & District Branch.

We’ve been helping, healing and homing the city’s vulnerable animals since 1887. Founded originally by Edward T Parker, the team now comprises a dedicated and passionate crew of animal welfare professionals, supported by an expert board of trustees who are as passionate about caring for animals in need as we are.
